Brecon Choir Festival

Connection, creativity and unforgettable singing in the Welsh mountains.

You are warmly invited to a very special fifth anniversary festival taking place on 16–19 July 2026.

The theme for our 2026 festival is George Herbert: In Every Corner Sing.

We continue our exploration of figures from the Welsh literary imagination with the Powys-born George Herbert, widely regarded as the greatest devotional poet in the English language.

Special guests include The Gesualdo Six, The Lyons Mouth, Continuum, Cappella Lacensis (Germany), the Monks of Maria Laach Abbey, Côr Llundain, Dr Rowan Williams as well as hometown favourites Brecon Cathedral Choir, Brecon Singers and Aberhonddu & District Male Choir.

Early-release tickets are now available here with more exciting announcements on the way.

We'll see you in July.
