Brecon Choir Festival was set up in 2022 to bring the best of Welsh and emerging choral talent in the world together in the most beautiful of settings. Our founding mission remains the same: to provide festival audiences with unique participation experiences, and to give young and disadvantaged people opportunities which otherwise

would not exist.

As we enter our third year we have ambitious plans for more workshops, commissioning a new piece of music to be premiered at the 2024 Festival and we will be supporting a Come & Sing concert of 'The Armed Man', Karl Jenkins’ famous Mass for peace. After a successful first year in 2023 we are continuing with our Young Singers Award as we seek to unearth the

next generation of Welsh singing talent.

Sponsorship, donations by Benefactors and our Friend’s initiative all help us to develop and thrive; to nurture talent, create community initiatives with lasting impact and to programme unforgettable events at affordable ticket prices.
